Privacy
MyRadio · last updated 20 October 2026
In short: MyRadio does not collect personal data. The app has no user accounts, no ads and no tracking, and we receive no data from the app.
What the app does online
- Station lists and search come from radio-browser.info. When you play a station, the app may report an anonymous play click there, without name or account.
- Radio streams are fetched directly from the stations' own servers. They see your IP address as with any other internet use.
- Cover art and artist info come from Apple's iTunes Search and public sources (for example Wikipedia), using the artist name and song title as search terms.
- Logos are fetched from the stations' own websites.
What is stored
- Favourites, own radios, names, settings and Flight mode recordings are stored on your phone.
- If iCloud is on, favourites and settings sync through your own iCloud account via Apple. We have no access to it.
- An optional photo of you stays on your phone and never leaves it.
- The MyRadio Pro purchase is handled by Apple. We receive no payment details.
Notifications
The app can send one local notification when a Flight mode recording is ready. It is created and shown on the phone, without a server.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, including children. Radio stations control the content of their own streams.
Deleting
Delete the app to remove everything stored on the phone. You remove favourites in iCloud under the phone's iCloud settings.
